Swiss Alternative Investments Forum 2020
Alternative Investments are booming in Switzerland, may it be Private Equity, Private Debt, Real Estate, Venture Capital, CAT-Bonds to name just a few. In 2018 the Swiss Asset Management Industry achieved AuM of CHF 2’208 billion Swiss Francs and has outgrown private banking. While Banks have difficulties in taking the risk of financing, specialised asset managers have taken over that lucrative business (Equity, Debt & Mezzanine).
Funds, Securitisation vehicles or managed account platforms are typically structured outside Switzerland.
